Indications for Dr Reckeweg R1: Dr. Reckeweg R1 is recommended for various inflammatory conditions, both acute and chronic, characterized by catarrhal and purulent manifestations, often accompanied by glandular swelling. It is particularly effective in cases of sudden infections accompanied by high fever and irritation of the meninges, conjunctivas, and pharynx.
Specifically, it is used for the following conditions:
- Inflammations and suppurations of the lymphatic system in the pharynx, including all forms of tonsillary angina, tonsillitis, scarlet fever, otitis media, conjunctivitis, iridocyclitis, meningitis, as well as inflammations of the maxillary sinus and dental roots.
- Inflammations of glands, such as mumps, orchitis, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, appendicitis, parametritis, and bartholinitis.
- Monarthritis and arthritis urica.
- Lymphadenitis, lymphangitis, phlegmonous inflammations, abscesses, furuncles, carbuncles, erysipelas, and quinsy.
Mode of Action of Main Ingredients in Dr. Reckeweg R1:
- Apis mellifica: Addresses inflammatory infiltrations and edematous swellings.
- Barium chloratum: Useful in chronic diseases with glandular swelling and suppuration, especially in scrofulous conditions in children.
- Belladonna: Targets inflammatory hyperemia of the skin, mucous membranes, and glands, often associated with high fever, mucosal acridity, delirium, and moist feverish skin.
- Calcium jodatum: Effective in chronic tonsillitis in children and scrofulous enlargement of lymph nodes on the neck and nape.
- Hepar sulphuris: Addresses the tendency for catarrhal inflammations and suppuration.
- Kalium bichromicum: Targets the plastic exudation of mucous membranes in the nose, pharyngeal cavity, and pharynx, as well as viscous, stringy mucus and mucosal ulcers.
- Marum verum: Addresses adenoid vegetation and chronic catarrh of the postnasal space.

Dosage Instructions for Dr. Reckeweg R1:
- In cases of acute infections with high fever, take 10-15 drops in water every half hour for half to one day. Continue with the same dosage in cases of purulent inflammations (e.g., tonsillitis or furuncles). After improvement, reduce the frequency to every 1-2 hours. Following recovery, take 10-15 drops 2-3 times a day for about a week.
- For chronic inflammations, take 10-15 drops 2-3 times a day.
- For constitutional modifications in chronic glandular hypertrophy in children, take 5-8 drops in water once a day over an extended period.
